Listening: Rhyming words, Punjabi Rhymes, and Punjabi Poems, Stories of Punjabi culture, Simple role-playing activities, Listening to News in Punjabi, Daily classroom conversation in Punjabi and daily used words to build vocabulary, Listening to Numbers from 1 to 50 in Gurmukhi.
Speaking: Students engage in daily classroom conversations, where they practice speaking through sentences, discussing news, and storytelling, using commonly used words and various speaking activities.
Reading: Read stories with the help of a teacher and independently, Read poems with help and independently, Learn new vocabulary words and understand their meanings and Numbers from 1 to 50 in Gurmukhi.
Comprehension: Answer questions about the stories and poems read, Fill in the blanks in sentences with newly learned vocabulary words, Use new words learned in their own sentences.
Grammar: Teach and explain grammar topics while reading stories and poems (at a very simple level to understand context):
Singular-Plurals, Masculine-Feminine, Noun-Pronoun, Adjective, Verb-Adverb, Simple Sentence Building.
Vocabulary: Daily used words related to various topics such as: Names of the months, School and Education, Water resources, Geography, Time, Attires, Diseases.
Writing: Writing words, Writing opposite words, Writing small sentences, Writing paragraphs, etc.
Projects: Do craft projects correlating to reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities.
